Bronte College’s World Vision Club kicked off its campaign to raise funds for their 30 Hour Famine event this April. Well-known recording artist, Danny Fernandes visited the school and performed for the student body to help raise awareness of the event. The show was opened by our very own Emiri Kawano.
The 30 Hour Famine is an annual event sponsored by the World Vision organization. Thousands of students participate every year to raise awareness and money in support of people in need around the world. The students will be collecting donations for this cause as they pledge to experience what it is like to go without food for 30 hours.
