Inclement Weather Policy

Dear students and parents, please listen to local radio broadcasts. If the Peel District School Board declares that buses are cancelled but schools are OPEN, Bronte College will be OPEN for instruction – however, there may be delays and cancellations. Please do use your good judgement and consider safety according to the warnings and reports in your area. Please do notify the school if you are unable to make it to the school safely.

If the Peel District School Board declares that buses are cancelled and schools are CLOSED in this geographical area, Bronte College will be CLOSED for instruction. Please call the school if you are unsure if the school is closed for instruction or not.

If the Peel District School Board declares that the offices are also closed, Bronte College administrative offices will be CLOSED – the residence and cafeteria departments will remain open.

We encourage everyone to put safety first and to have patience whenever there is inclement weather.
