Advanced Placement
ADVANCED PLACEMENT PROGRAM The Advanced Placement (AP) program, established over fifty years ago, gives students the opportunity to learn university-level studies while still in high school. It is recognized for its excellence by the majority of the universities in Canada, the United States, and more than 55 other countries. AP exams are offered in 22 subject areas and are written in May each year worldwide. Our students conveniently write their AP exams on campus as Bronte College is the regional AP Testing Centre. On request, results are forwarded by the AP College Board directly to the universities of the student's choice. Successful results on AP exams provide students with the possibility of first-year university transfer credits, advanced placement or both. By earning university transfer credits or advanced placement, students can save both time and university tuition fees. http://www.collegeboard.org/ The More Popular AP Exams written at Bronte College
